Fever is a combination of the sketch comedy show, In Living Color and American Idol. Singers, dancers, musicians, and actors are showcased in a thrilling thirty-minute production. | Entertainment Industry Learns About The TV Show - Fever Written by Sheri Beyrau Tuesday, 27 March 2007 Karma Butler’s concept for Fever is to be a non-competitive, showcase for young entertainment entrepreneurs, and a learning experience to prepare them for the entertainment industry. Twenty performers were chosen for the pilot cast. They had approximately 200 performers audition at Arts Enter Cape Charles, Governor’s School, various schools on the eastern shore, and other locations through out Hampton Roads. | Fever Makes Headlines in the Virginian Pilot Newspaper Written by Malcolm Venable November 30, 2007 This week, a new type of reality show is looking to make its mark - one produced in Hampton Roads. Called "Fever," the show actually has more in common with the variety shows of yesteryear. "Fever," follows a gaggle of performing artists - singers, dancers and comics - and simply gives them an outlet to shine. There's no competition, no crusty English judges, no elimination, just a forum for talent.
