This publishing label is licensed by the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) and is a sub-division of Dance Karma Entertainment. | Karma Butler is the President and Owner of Dance Karma Entertainment and it's Music Publishing Label, Hear Karmic Music. Karma was born in the Big Apple, Manhattan, New York. He is an accredited Producer, Recording Artist, Actor, Choreographer, and Dancer. He is an honor graduate and has been a four year faculty member of the Virginia Governor's School for the Arts. After graduating the Governor's School for the Arts he was hired by Paramount to dance in their syndicated show Retro-Active. He then traveled to the California Institute of the Arts where he majored in Dance and fine tuned his Choreographer skills. In Los Angeles Karma began to gain exposure in the mainstream commercial entertainment industry. He was guided, coached, and motivated by his cousin and entertainment industry mentor, celebrity actress and singer, Tichina Arnold known from Everybody Hates Chris, Martin, and Little Shop of Horrors. Karma has been seen on television shows and films such as American Pie, Fame, FBI Files, Sister Sister, and The Dating Game. | Network commercials, and also starred in a Chevrolet commercial where he gained fame as "Karma the Car King." Karma is a talented national choreographer and dance instructor. Some of his choreography credits include: requested choreography from R&B recording artist, Mary J. Blige, Jesus Christ Superstar, and film work for Student Academy Award Winner, Waleed Moursi. Karma has had his talent of dance represented by the highly accredited DDO Artists Agency of Los Angeles. Karma has danced with some of the dance industry's most famed celebrity dancers with career highlights; auditioning for Christina Aguelera, and Beyonce Knowles, and being called back for casting from Janet Jackson, and Prince auditions. Wade Robinson, a dance industry hip-hop super-star, was Karma's hip-hop instructor while he was on a dance scholarship at the Dance Center, of Los Angeles, formally known as Tremaine School of Dance. Karma travels around the country teaching talented young entertainers who aspire to become professionals in the entertainment industry. He has taught at the Regional and National High School Dance Festivals with his popular Jazz and Hip-Hop classes packing in 200+ students per class. Karma is the Executive Producer of the television show Fever produced by his entertainment company Dance Karma Entertainment. This show features young entertainment entrepreneurs and has been featured on ABC Television, and media publications. He is also the Executive Producer of New Millennium Artists, a compilation album that features credited Recording Artists from the West to East Coasts. Karma continues his entertainment journey daily and loves the opportunity to teach aspiring entertainers. |
